Isha’s Voice [Eva’s Voice in the Greek Edition] is the story of a girl who experiences herself in the Great Liturgy of life without the slightest self-consciousness, vanity or inhibition…until the moment when she is expected to sing for a stranger that her daddy brings home to hear her beautiful voice.
When asked to perform on demand, without being in natural call and response with the sounds of the world around her, Isha goes silent and finds herself separated from her father as he travels all over the world looking for the voice that once brought both of them such joy.
Eva’s Voice has been released in a Greek Edition by Phosphorus Books, Athens, Greece, illustrated by Dimitra Psychogiou, a talented Greek illustrator and artist who studied with the iconographer George Kordis. It is not currently available in English, but a search for an American publisher is underway.
