Guest Speaker: Fr. Panayiotis Papageorgiou

Fr. Panayiotis Papageorgiou was born in Cyprus and came to the United States in 1978.  He holds a Masters degree in chemical engineering from University of Notre Dame, an M.Div. from Holy Cross School of Theology and a Ph.D. in early Christian studies from Catholic University. He served on the faculty of Tantur Ecumenical Institute in Jerusalem from 1998-2001 where he lectured on the theology and spirituality of Eastern Christianity. He is President of the Clergy Syndesmos of the Greek Orthodox Metropolis of Atlanta, serves on the Archdiocesan Council of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of North America, and as priest of Holy Transfiguration Greek Orthodox Church in Marietta, GA.  Fr. Panayiotis has published a number of papers in Christian theology along with his new book, a translation the homilies of St. John Chrysostom on Romans, which we have been studying in our Wednesday evening gatherings.

Greek Dinner served at 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. and a Lecture at 6 p.m.

Dinner by Reservation only.   $25 Adults; $6 Children (12 and under)
